Sue Dreyer is Director of Sales and Marketing for Bernardus Lodge, the luxurious 57-room boutique resort located in Carmel Valley, California. In her position, Dreyer is responsible for all sales and marketing efforts as well as catering and conference services for the resort. She has more than 23 years of experience working at the finest hotels and resorts in the region.

Dreyer joined Bernardus Lodge as Senior Sales Manager in 2001 then shortly after was promoted to Director of Sales and Marketing. In her position Sue had an additional responsibility for four years working with both Bernardus Lodge and Quail Lodge consecutively.Prior to that, Dreyer worked as Regional Sales Manager at Pebble Beach Resorts in Pebble Beach, CA and as a Corporate Sales Manager for Doubletree Hotels in Monterey, CA, during which time she received the “Sales Manager Recognition Award” from the Monterey County Hospital Industry in 1996. Dreyer also enjoyed a five-year tenure with Hyatt Hotels.

Dreyer is an active member of the community. She has previously served on the Board of Directors for the Monterey County Hospitality Association and the Monterey County Visitor’s and Convention Center. She currently sits on the Monterey County Hospitality Association Annual Dinner Committee and the Monterey County Visitor’s and Convention Sales Committee. She graduated from the California State University of Hayward with a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration and option in Marketing. Dreyer currently lives in Monterey with her husband, Mark, daughter Rachel and her two dogs, Carmela and Hans.
