2004 Pinot Noir

Wine Spectator

Creamy-textured, with smoky mocha-laced oak wrapped around a supple core of raspberry, blueberry and blackberry flavors, finishing with lots of depth, richness and concentration. Drink now through 2011.

Restaurant Wine

Four Stars
Full bodied and fleshy, this is a richer, more powerful wine than the Bien Nacido, with light tannin on the finish. It tastes of plum, cherry, blueberry, toast, and tobacco.

California Grapevine

Medium-light to medium ruby; attractive, relatively herbal, intense, spicy, somewhat stemmy, ripe cherry fruit aroma with overtones of toasty oak; full body; forward, rich, plush, textured, cedary, black cherry fruit flavors with a velvety mouth feel; well balanced and structured; medium-full to full tannin; lingering aftertaste. Developed with airing n the glass and very enjoyable to drink now.
Highly recommended.
