Bernardus Winery holds this designation for its Ingrid’s Vineyard-sourced wines, produced from fruit grown across three estate sites in the Carmel Valley AVA and processed entirely on the property. Our estate-grown wines carry this certification because the relationship between the land and the label is unbroken from harvest through bottling. The designation is not self-assigned; it is governed by the Alcohol and Tobacco Tax and Trade Bureau and requires annual certification to maintain.
