Our 2016 Sierra Mar Pinot is showing its usual elegant style. In the aromas we find scents of spicy red fruits with a hint of toasty oak. On the palate we find soft, lush flavors of ripe red cherry and cranberry along with subtle hints of oak spice. This Pinot is perfect to enjoy now or can be aged for several years to come.
Rosés have gone from being the black sheep of the wine world to the newest trend! We at Bernardus have been making small batches of dry Rosé for well over a decade and are pleased to see people are now embracing it with gusto! Our Rosé is made in a style reminiscent of those found in the Provence region of France. The color is a light, very pale salmon. The aromas are classic with delicate scents of red berries and rose pedal. The refreshing palate is redolent with flavors of raspberry and cherry which linger on the finish. Our Bernardus Rosé is a perfect summer quaffer, as the alcohol is a low 12.6%. Enjoy!
The aromas exhibit scents of black cherries with hints of spice. The flavors are crisp and intense. They range from black cherries to boysenberries and plum skin. The cool climate of the Highlands adds a note of refreshing acidity to the overall profile making this a delicious Pinot to be enjoyed in its youth or aged for several years for a more mature wine experience.
Our 2016 Bernardus Rosella’s Vineyard Pinot Noir exhibits a deeply-colored crimson robe. The nose expresses gorgeous ripe, red fruit aromas with notes of rose pedal. Delicious flavors of red cherry and cranberry are accented by notes of toasty oak and spice. Our 2016 Rosella’s Pinot Noir shows the elegant and refined aromas and flavors which typify the terrior of this superb vineyard.
The robe of our 2013 Marinus is a very deep crimson. On the nose we find dried cranberry aromas accented by subtle spice notes. The palate is intensely flavored with impressions of bright red cherry and plum.
The finish shows excellent tannic structure promising a long life for this vintage of Marinus, much like that of a fine Bordeaux.
The aromas of our 2017 Ingrid’s Chard exhibit green apple and baking spices. The palate is exceptionally rich and long with very focused flavors mirroring the aromas, supported by a crisp finish.
The 2016 Soberanes displays a beautiful ruby robe and vibrant red fruit aromas. The palate exhibits crisp flavors of ripe red cherry and raspberry with a long finish, promising an excellent future ahead.
Our 2016 Monterey County Chardonnay exemplifies all the characteristics that make Bernardus Chardonnay the quintessential Chardonnay from the Central Coast. The nose expresses aromas of fresh peach and yellow cherries with subtle hints of baking spices. The flavors are a delicious blend of ripe white fruits accented by toasty oak notes. The wonderfully creamy texture finishes with a characteristic note of crisp acidity which is the hallmark of excellent Chardonnay from Monterey County.
The robe of our 2014 Marinus is very deeply-colored. The aromas exude beautifully ripened red fruits accented by subtle spice notes. The mouthfeel is very soft and full expressing delicious flavors of ripe cherry and plum. The finish is well structured with soft tannins promising a long life for this superb bottle, similar to a fine Bordeaux.
Our 2018 Rosella’s Chardonnay exhibits complex aromas of ripe white fruits, honey suckle and baking spice. The intense flavors mirror the aromas which linger beautifully through its long, crisp finish.
